Rungus Service at PCS TGP (Taman Gereja Pusat)

s been so long since I ever attend Rungus Service in my church. If I'm not mistaken th last time I attend Rungus Service is in June. Waaa, what a good relief to ever attend Rungus Service after been so long been attend SIB OG at Kuching. It feels like 'Waaa, inilah rumahku.. Inilah di mana saya membesar. Inilah dimana keluargaku dibebaskan'. Erk, not meaning that my faith is not growing in SIB OG ya. My faith do grow there and it is greatly grow. But my mind and soul still with PCS - want to sIthare all those experiences that I got from SIBOG and any other church. Ya, I do love my church so much!!

Emm.. There are a lot of changes made the way my church doing their service. Ya from time to time we need to change maa.. Hiii, I love it. Changes that I've seen/heard:

1. Worship leader take part only at the beginning of the service..

2. Sermon take over after that.

3. Another one will come out to lead the next procedure/liturgy.

4. Mixed modern & 'the late' music.

5. Back up singers.

6. Holy communion once a month.

7. Church involvement quite 'mantap'.

8. Practice every Saturday afternoon for the service.

9. etc: Can't remember well.

Me? Usually I'm serving the Lord at music. But it is so hard to accompany the church in singing hymn. Need to practice a lot may be. 3/2 2/2, 3/4, 4/4.. Arghh.. Everything possible Barns, don't worry. Because you love music..

Radio Rungus Online Fixed Server

It's been so long since I actively listen to RRO (Radio Rungus Online). Yesterday I try to listen to it again using winamp but then I can hear nothing. Then I start think, what happenned to RRO? Haha, the answer is very simple. The URL that they provide few months back they didn't use it again. They fixed their URL server to one fixed server and that is http://78.159.111.125:8026. 

After I realized of what is happening, then I update my 'radio rungus online' page. Feel free to listen and view it here.

Caroling run by PCS TGP Youth Ministry

18.12.2010 - The 3rd day i came back to Sabah. Since then it's also the 3rd time I  took part in PCS TGP Youth Ministry's caroling around Kudat. But my first carol ministry this year took part in Kuching together with SIB Olive Garden Tertiary Youth Ministry. There are a lot of different between the way SIBOG and PCS TGP Youth Ministry in celebrating caroling but it doesn't really matter as our main mission in caroling are all the same - to remind that Jesus was born 2000+ years, died on the cross and rose again on the 3rd day just to save all of us from sins. Not just that but we also carol because we want to celebrate Christmas in a joyful situation/manner/condition.

Back to the topic, I'm really happy to have the chance to celebrate PCS TGP Youth Ministry Caroling although I am 3 days late. I'm happy because I can see my church members who are not really active back then but now, they are really active in the ministry. I'm also quite surprised to see many involvement from young youth (tertiary). Some i know but some others I don't know. It is like they are the new newborn youth born from PCS. I pray that the bond which are newly formed will continue and the bond will become strong from time to time.

When I look at the other corner, the way caroling made by my church (PCS) train the youth from a lot of aspects.  For example today when we carol at Mr M's home, there are tertiary who are being told to pray for the food. Hmm, the prayer that he made a lil bit funny but it doesn't matter as he is brave enough to pray. Hmm, when i think back, I'm also like him.. Not brave enough to pray in front of everyone - I have speech problems, my words suddenly cut down, etc. I salute him for his bravery.

The incident that happen today also make me somehow worry. There are church member who are being bite/stung by centipede. Waa.. I do respect this girl - being stung 3 times by the same centipede but she didn't even tears. Thank God shes well after being rubbed with 'minyak batu'. But then it is still swelling bha.. Hehehe. .Go girl!

Scientists and God..

Suddenly this story pop out in my mind as I read a book this morning. I heard this story from a sermon many years ago ( sorry, i forgot when and where).

There are a group of scientist who want to challenge God on how to create a man from the soil. So these scientist practice very hard to make a man from the soil until one day they finally successfully make a man from the soil. They a very happy of being able to prove that human also can create a man on their own..

So the day where these scientists want to show their creation has come. God ask them to show how they made their creation first. 

Scientist 1: We are very proud that we finally can prove that we also can create human from soils.

Scientist 2: Watch it out..

So the scientists took a soil then, phosphate, calcium, sodium, potassium and everything needed to create a man.

They are very careful in mixing up those component so that a perfect human can be made. 

The Lord watch and suddenly say: "Wait,wait... Is that soils? Thats is My Creation. I created it long ago when I created this world. You can't use that to create human because that is my creation. You have to create your own soil"

So the scientists confused.. How do they make soil.. Everything in this world is His..

A LETTER TO YOU FROM SATAN
I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores. You awoke without kneeling to pray. As a matter of fact, you didn't even bless your meals, or pray before going to bed last night. You are so unthankful, I like that about you. I cannot tell you how glad I am that you have not changed your way of living, Fool, you are mine. 

Remember,you and I have been going steady for years. and I still don't love you yet. As a matter of fact, I hate you, because I hate God. I am only using you to get even with God. He kicked me out of heaven, and I'm going to use you as long as possible to pay him back. 

You see, Fool, GOD LOVES YOU and He has great plans in store for you. But you have yielded your life to me, and I'm going to make your life a living hell. That way, we'll be together twice. This will really hurt God. 
Thanks to you, I'm really showing Him who's boss in your life with all of the good times we've had. We have been watching dirty movies, cursing people out, stealing, lying, being hypocritical, fornicating, overeating, telling dirty jokes, gossiping, being judgmental, back stabbing people, disrespecting adults, and those in leadership positions, no respect for the Church, bad attitudes. 

SURELY you don't want to give all this up. Come on, Fool, let's burn together forever. I've got some hot plans for us. This is just a letter of appreciationfrom me to you. I'd like to say "THANKS" for letting me use you for most of your foolish life. 

You are so gullible, I laugh at you. When you are tempted to sin, you give in HA HA HA, you make me sick. Sin is beginning to take it's toll on your life. You look 20 years older, and now, I need new blood. So go ahead and teach some children how to sin. All you have to do is smoke, get drunk or drink while under-aged, cheat, gamble, gossip, fornicate, and live being as selfish as possible. 

Do all of this in the presence of children and they will do it too. Kids are like that. 

Well, Fool, I have to let you go for now. I'll be back in a couple of seconds to tempt you again. If you were smart, you would run somewhere, confess you sins, and live for God with what little bit of life that you have left. It's not my nature to warn anyone, but to be your age and still sinning, it's becoming a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I still hate you.
