Family Day Taman Gereja Pusat

The family day celebration for the Taman Gereja Pusat members took place today (05.11.2013) at Pantai Pulau Kelambu Kudat). Short but so relaxing.

The 1st gathering took place at TGP before we move to Pantai Pulau Kelambu. Moved on around 8am, we arrived there around 8.30am (took 20-30 minutes with regular speed 70-100km/h from Kudat Town).

With total of around 50 persons, the gathering started with a short fellowship lead by Diaken Andry and preached by our gembala Tumpuk Jod Aiyong. At the meanwhile, some of us are grilling the chicken wings, sausage, fish (Ikan Uji Rashid) & and pig sate. Funny thing is that the arang are not enough to grill all the stuff. Avenson and Roy had to go back to Kudat Town to buy more arang.

After the fellowship, a simple recreational games conducted to enliven more the Family Day. The simple recreational games are

2. Pertandingan makan cumi2 belia

3. Pertandingan makan cumi+cumi dan keropok bapa2.

4. Pertandingan makan cumi2 + sosej ibu2

5. Pertandingan makan kacang kanak2

6  Pertandingan makan kacang belia

7. Pertandingan makan kacang ibu-ibu

8. Pertandingan makan kacang bapa2

9. Pertandingan mengisi air dalam botol minuman belia + kanak-kanak

About noon, the situation got more fun with the acara makan-makan. Some bring rice, fish, pig & many more others. Grace were done by Pendeta Daniel O. And yeah!! all of us are full but sadly, there a lot of food that are not eaten (some were brought home again). 

After that we are free to swim and and taking bath at the sea. I see most of the kids are very happy playing sand and even swiming at the shallow seaside. Me? Busy teaching my wife how to swim. Hahaha..

At 4 pm, we are already leaving the area. Everyone heading home again.

When You Think You Can, You Can Do It!!

We are very familiar with this sentence.. As far as I remember the song 'Kau Boleh' i first time heard is when i was in the primary school. 'Kau Boleh' song touches people in whatever their work/program/problems /study/sport and everything.. But now I am not writing about that.. Now I am writing about the challenges that I had encountered this past few days.

I just bought a car. A proton saga flx 1.3. We know that a new car need regular servicing, especially when the dates/km limitation already there. Waaaa.. Driving in a big city like KK is a bit scary, especially when there are so many cars from the back, front, right and left.. But what can I do, for my lovely car, I have to take the challenge.. But for me as an outsider, the road there is a little bit dangerous for me.. Thank God i have my friend there to help me. Without him, I believe I cannot 'survive' well there.. He help me in guiding the way.. But I think I had troubled him.. Huhu... Anyway thank you very much my friend.


Few days have past and I believe the experience that I got from that day will remain forever.. Haha.. Memory is so sweet.

11.11.11 - Congratulation Pinsan On Your Wedding!

11.11.11 - Its a special date. Its very easy to remember.. It is only one in this century. Have to wait for century so that a day of 11.11.3011 pop.

As it is very special, it also my cousin very very special day.. It is their wedding day.. Phewwwwwittt.. Im participated in their wedding day as a musician - specifically, as an acoustic guitar player.. The wedding ceremony in the church held about 2 hours.. The start and the end time are also a very special time.. As the wedding ceremony in the church held on 11.11.11, it also start on 11 am and end on 1 pm! Beautiful number isn't?

On the night time, we were invited in their dinner - Restoran Hock Chong.. Wohooo, 9 menus.. My stomach full.. Anyway, both of you Kau and Mainah, congratulation on your wedding.. Cepat2 bertiga ya.. Haha

18 October 2011 is a date which carved in my heart.. It is our big day, my big day.. After spending about 3 years of training in KSKB Kuching, we finally have the chance to attend our graduation ceremony.. The chance to wear the graduation gown!! It is my dream to wear that graduation gown anyway..

We actually graduated last year but the convocation ceremony is 10 months forward. As 10 months goes by, I'm so happy to meet my colleague, of course there are a lot of changes that I noticed. Some have their stomach bigger, some have their face chubby, some have their hair lain-lain, some have their speaking skill change and many more. And all of that, I am so happy to be able to meet them.. It is very hard to reunite - actually some of my colleague cannot come on that day, sad...

So as a big day, pictures is one of the remembrance of all that.. I thank PhotoRex because of their great artwork, their great touch up and their great snap of my graduation picture.. It is so mantap that it make me smile.. Hahah... Anyway, I won't upload it here..

Is weapon necessary in for hunting anima

Walawei, im so happy to being serve by this delicious food I ever loved..  Perut payau masak rendang.. Waaa... Believe it or not, it is quite hard to ever ever cook a food like this.. It is because the raw fresh meat nowadays is very hard to get.. Furthermore, if it is available, it is sold in a very high price..

My family lived in a very small village.. Surrounded by a forest and very urban place, food like this is very hard to get.. The villagers everyday do their best to live - tanam padi, tanam getah, gumaji, moninso and many more. As we lived by the jungle, dogs, cats, monkeys and other animal becomes our precious friend. 

My family owned a dog. 5 dogs. So as we lived it the urban area, sometimes wild boar and payau becomes our greatest food - it is rare.. This one day, my dad went to deeper forest to seek for vegetables. So he brought our 5 dogs with him. While he is vegetabling, suddenly our dogs becomes noisy. Dunno what the cause but my day continue to vegetebling. As time goes by, the dogs barking become noisy and fierce.

By my dad thought it was just an ordinary bark cuz who would sensitive with a dog barking like that? So he let it be.. After few minutes, my father heard an unordinary sound which come from the Payau.. When he looked at it, the Payau already went down - it has been attacked by the fierce dogs. So my dad pull his chooper and chop the payau's neck.. That day, they have a beautiful lunch and dinner.

Is a heavy weapon necessary to killed@hunt an animal? What do you say?

Waaaa.. Is is just amazing..

Seorang lelaki telah berkenalan dengan seorang perempuan di fb(facebook). Apabila mereka telah rapat, mereka menjadi gf & bf.Tetapi masalahnya , mereka belum pernah berjumpa...Maklumlah lelaki itu tinggal di KL manakala perempuan itu tinggal di Johor

Pada suatu hari , lelaki itu sudah tidak sabar untuk melihat wajah perempuan itu lalu menghantar msg kepada makwenya....

Lelaki : saya akan bertolak esok!

Keesokan harinya , lelaki itupun bertolak ke Johor untuk berjumpa dgn makwenya... Dalam pejalanan , mereka berbalas msg...

Perempuan : awak.... awk x sampai lagi ke? saya boring ni....

Lelaki : saya dlm prjalanan ke rumah awak laa.......

Perempuan : ok saya akan tunggu... Miss u.. :)

Selepas beberapa jam , lelaki itu sampai ke rumah makwenya...Lalu mengetuk pintu rumah makwenya..Bukannya perempuan itu yg membukanya tetapi ayahnya

Lelaki : pak cik..... inikah rumah Fatimah??

Pak cik : ye.. kenapa?

Lelaki : Fatimah ada ke pak cik? saya ni sahabatnya... dtg melawat (sebenarnya dlm hati lelaki itu berkata,, ''Aku ni balak dialah =,=' ''

Pak cik : Fatimah dh lama meninggal dunia.

Lelaki : x mungkinlah pak cik. saya baru msg dia tadi..

Mereka berdua terdiam sebentar..

Bunyi telefon lelaki itu memecah kesunyian....

Perempuan : awak x sampai lagi ke??

Lelaki : saya sudah jumpa dgn bapa awk lpas tu dia kata awk dh meninggal dunia...

Perempuan : mmng lah saya sudah meninggal dunia

2011 Greeting & Good Bye 2010

Its 2010 and this is the first time i blog this year. Ya, been on holiday at my village to celebrate Christmas and to be there with family. Well, quite a number that i did at village to fill-in my holiday. Caroling, celebrated Christmas with villagers in the church, swimming in the river, fishing, went to the sea, selling fish, seining fish, baby-sitting my sister's son and many more. :)

Happy new year 2011 and good bye 2010. Its not too late for me to say that right? A blink of eye and 2010  end. There is no more 2010. It is 2011. Its a new year. Hows your new year celebration? Going well? Some of you may be celebrated new year with camping, some playing with fireworks, some went to picnic, some praying, some more fishing and all kind of celebration lah right? Especially those who lived in town, a 'boom' of fireworks is some of your celebration right?

Me? I celebrate my new year with sleeping. Haha, its not what we have plan but what can I do, I slept all night. The plan that we want to make to celebrate new year is to swim on the waterfall at our village. So sad that I slept. That carelessness that I made, make the failure of our plan. Huhu.. Nevermind.

Emm, do have your determination this for this year? Some may have his/her determination for this year and some still don't think anything right? Haha.. Pelan-pelan bha.. Me? I do have but I won't tell you.. Hihihi..

O ya, suitable as an ending year of 2010, I took this text from the Word Of God in The Bible as a reflection to all of us. Let us together reflect these Word Of God.

20.12.2010 - After few days together struggling in caroling, PCS TGP Youth Ministry Caroling Team ends her carols today. Waa.. What a very memorable moment together with all of the young youths and adults.
